2025 is the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy

The year 2025 in Uzbekistan was declared by the President as the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy" — a step towards the conservation of resources, the introduction of sustainable technologies and a culture of responsible consumption.

Global Textile supports this initiative by introducing environmentally oriented solutions: waste-free production, the use of renewable energy sources, biological pest control methods and the development of products that are safe for the ecosystem.

As our CEO Muzaffar Razakov noted at COP29 in Baku: "We are guided by the UN Sustainable Development Goals by investing in drip irrigation and wastewater treatment systems, which minimizes water losses, processes it inside production processes and reduces the environmental footprint."

Unfortunately, we take more from nature than we give back, and this requires immediate action and the introduction of sustainable solutions that will help maintain a balance between development and caring for the planet for future generations.
