Business Beyond Borders

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held the 6th Open Dialogue with Entrepreneurs today. Global Textile CEO Muzaffar Razakov was among the participants.

Expanding Uzbekistan’s export potential and strengthening the presence of national brands in international markets were among the key topics of the dialogue.

One message from the President was particularly relevant to Global Textile:

“Competition for markets is becoming increasingly intense around the world. In today’s environment, an entrepreneur entering a foreign market should not be left alone for a single minute.”

Exports are an important part of Global Textile’s growth strategy. Our products are currently supplied to more than 20 countries, and our next stage of development focuses on expanding this geography, building relationships with international brands and increasing the share of finished products in our exports.

The Open Dialogue also introduced new mechanisms to support exporters, including a system of “export navigators”, stronger engagement with promising international markets, and support with international standards, certification, marketing and participation in global tenders.

For manufacturers looking to grow internationally, exporting today goes far beyond selling products abroad. Competitiveness depends on product quality, compliance with international requirements, brand development and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

For Global Textile, this remains a strategic priority. Muzaffar Razakov’s participation in the Open Dialogue provided an opportunity to hear directly about the new mechanisms and conditions being developed to support Uzbek businesses as they expand their presence in global markets.
