The monitors are glowing red, news feeds are filled with reports about the country’s air quality, and enterprises have been given an ultimatum to cut emissions by half.
We fully understand why environmental issues are drawing so much attention. At Global Textile, this matter is addressed at a systemic level: our processes are designed from the outset to maintain clean air and ensure safety for people.
The dust that appears during cotton processing does not escape into the open air. It passes through a multi-stage filtration system and is completely captured. Then comes the most interesting part. We do not dispose of this dust — we turn it into a resource.
The collected dust is fed into a pressing machine, where it is compressed under high pressure into dense briquettes. They are used for various purposes, including improving soil quality. There is no disposal process involved and no harm to the atmosphere.
What is usually considered waste in traditional production becomes part of a closed, environmentally responsible cycle in our operations. This is not a temporary measure or a reaction to inspections. This is our everyday practice.
We believe that clean production is the responsibility of everyone who creates, builds, and manufactures. It is time to consider the footprint we leave behind — and what we can change today.
