Two 55-Year-Old Stories. This October, We Meet in Tashkent

In 1971, home and interior textiles got their own dedicated trade fair in Frankfurt — Heimtextil.

Something else happened that same year. Ray Tomlinson sent a message from one computer to another and chose the @ symbol for email addresses.

These two 55-year-old stories took rather different paths. One helped business communicate across distances. The other has spent 55 years bringing people together in one place.

This October, the meeting point is Tashkent.

From 12 to 14 October, Tashkent will host Heimtextil Uzbekistan, Texworld Tashkent and Apparel Sourcing Tashkent. Global Textile will be there to welcome visitors at Pavilion 1, Stand H01.
