Global Textile in Azerbaijan

The Global Textile team visited Azerbaijan to study local cotton-growing practices and explore the technological solutions used in the region. When you take the industry seriously, it becomes essential to look beyond your own field. This is why we aim to learn from the experience of other countries and understand which approaches truly prove effective in practice.

In Yevlakh, our specialists walked through all key stages of production: from seed preparation and irrigation management to machinery operation and farm administration. Seeing these processes firsthand reveals details that often remain invisible in reports, yet ultimately define overall efficiency.

Our colleagues at Azərşəkər demonstrated their methods, explained the reasoning behind their decisions, and shared the practices that help them achieve stable results. This open exchange of knowledge provided us with new reference points and deepened our understanding of the region’s specific conditions.
