Is Uzbekistan ready to European market?
12/02/2026

This question is still raised outside the country. The stereotype that local manufacturers struggle to meet European requirements continues to exist.
Today, the country’s textile industry is steadily moving in this direction: new technologies are being implemented, quality control is being strengthened, and operational standards are being aligned with international requirements.
As part of the systematic efforts to strengthen cooperation with European companies, the Agency for the Development of the Light Industry organized a meeting with representatives of the Spanish company Ayeco, led by Alejandro Pastrana. During the dialogue, specific areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Spain were discussed, including opportunities to expand the presence of domestic manufacturers in the European market and mechanisms to enhance export potential.
For Global Textile, such meetings are part of consistent work aimed at building long-term partnerships. We understand that trust is formed gradually — through quality, responsibility, and tangible results. This is the path we continue to follow.
