Textile Horizon Moves to a New Scale of Implementation

At the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, with the participation of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the official start was given to the construction of the Textile Horizon manufacturing complex at Mingachevir Industrial Park.

Textile Horizon is a joint Uzbek-Azerbaijani project of Global Textile and Azersheker, being developed as an integrated production system spanning the entire chain from cotton cultivation to finished textile products.

During the visit of Global Textile CEO Muzaffar Razakov, the first results of Textile Horizon’s agricultural operations were presented to the partners and the next priorities were defined. A separate part of the discussions with Azerbaijani and Turkish colleagues focused on sales, marketing and target markets — the commercial side of the project is being developed alongside its manufacturing base.

In terms of its scale and depth of cooperation, Textile Horizon is becoming one of the defining integration projects between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan — a strong example of productive, effective and successful cooperation between the two countries in the real economy.
