Historically, Uzbekistan’s industry and infrastructure have been built around cotton and textiles. Textiles begin with the land: agriculture provides cotton and natural fibers. From them come yarn and fabric, which later become our clothing and home textiles. To ensure fabrics are high-quality and comfortable, technologies, laboratories, and skilled people all play a role. From there, textiles naturally become part of everyday life — in hospitals, homes, vehicles, and construction.
