117 Thousand Tons of Yarn in 11 Years: Numbers Hard to Imagine

What do a T-shirt, the Earth, and African elephants have in common?

All of them help illustrate the scale of yarn production achieved by Global Textile over the past 11 years.

During this period, the company produced approximately 117 thousand tons of yarn. To better understand the magnitude of this volume:

• it is roughly equivalent to the weight of more than 19,000 adult African elephants;

• if all the yarn produced were unwound into a single continuous thread, it would circle the Earth approximately 148,000 times;

• it is enough to produce nearly 600 million T-shirts — enough to dress almost the entire population of Europe.

For the textile industry, such figures primarily reflect production capacity, process stability, and the ability to operate at high volumes over the long term.

Behind these numbers stand 11 years of production development, thousands of employees, the daily work of a large-scale operation, and the continuous improvement of every stage of the textile value chain — from raw materials to finished products.

This is what enables Global Textile today to confidently maintain high production volumes and a stable pace of growth.
