Two Better Cotton training programs are taking place simultaneously at Global Textile

Today, two Better Cotton training programs are taking place simultaneously within Global Textile in the Tashkent and Fergana regions.

In the Tashkent region, specialists, managers and cluster participants are receiving training on Better Cotton requirements, decent work, occupational safety, worker grievance mechanisms and other important aspects of sustainable management.

In the Fergana region, the program focuses on regenerative agriculture and integrated pest management. These approaches help preserve soil health, strengthen agricultural resilience and reduce environmental impact.

For Global Textile, programs like these are especially important. Sustainable production begins long before cotton becomes yarn, fabric or finished garments. It starts in the field with the daily decisions, knowledge and practices applied by specialists and farmers.

For this reason, the company continues to invest in training, professional development and the implementation of Better Cotton approaches across all regions where it operates.

This work contributes to a more transparent and responsible supply chain, strengthens the sustainability of production processes and supports the long term development of cotton farming in Uzbekistan.

Global Textile extends its appreciation to the Better Cotton team for their partnership, expertise and continued support in advancing more sustainable practices across the industry.
