Business Dialogue

On March 12, a meeting was held with the support of the Agency for the Development of Light Industry under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Agriculture, representatives of the Presidential Administration, and the private sector. The event was dedicated to discussing current issues in the cotton-textile industry, existing challenges, and possible solutions.

The meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue with the participation of industry representatives, government bodies, and relevant organizations. This format allowed participants to raise specific issues and immediately discuss proposals for addressing them.

Muzaffar Razakov, CEO of Global Textile and Chairman of the Public Council for Light Industry, took part in the discussion, answered participants’ questions, and exchanged views with representatives of the industry.

Following the discussion, it was noted that such meetings serve as an important platform for direct interaction between businesses and government institutions. The participants agreed to continue this format on a regular basis, with further work on the issues raised and monitoring of the proposed initiatives.
