Central Asian University students visited Global Textile

What do Clash of Clans and textile manufacturing management have in common? As it turned out, much more than it may seem at first glance.
That question became the starting point of a meeting between students of Central Asian University and the Global Textile team held on May 15, the company’s anniversary.
During the visit, Muzaffar Razakov spoke about how Global Textile grew over 11 years from a small team into a large scale integrated production system covering the full process from cotton to finished products.
Throughout the day, students met with executives responsible for different parts of the business. Through real operational examples, decisions and management cases, the Global Textile leadership team explained how production, agricultural operations, people management, operations and finance are organized inside a large manufacturing company.
Why is it impossible to “upgrade everything at once” in business? What matters more, rapid growth or sustainability? Why can reserves sometimes be more important than profit? And how can one decision today affect the company’s opportunities a year later?
Using the logic of strategy games together with real business examples, the discussion about manufacturing management became engaging, practical and easy for students to relate to.
After the visit, many students admitted that it was the first time they had seen business presented in such a real and systematic way. Some were already asking how they could join the Global Textile team.
The company is currently discussing internship opportunities so that this introduction can become the beginning of deeper cooperation and real professional experience for students.
