Food Agricultural Organization
04/12/2025

Today, representatives of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) visited us.
We discussed several key issues that are especially important for cotton farming today, including water scarcity, soil conditions, the sustainability of production processes, and the potential for implementing modern technologies.
During the meeting, we agreed to launch a pilot project on Global Textile’s fields using a new irrigation method. This will allow us to observe how the approach performs in real conditions and what results it can deliver. FAO will accompany us throughout this process and share its expertise.
For us, this is an opportunity to put international experience into practice and evaluate the effectiveness of modern agricultural technologies in our environment.
We thank the FAO team for their insightful visit and open, productive discussion.
