German Delegation Visits Global Textile

Global Textile's spinning facility in Tashkent welcomed a delegation from Germany representing government institutions, business, education, and the labour market.

During the visit, the guests observed one of the key stages of cotton processing, where cotton fibre is transformed into yarn. This provided an opportunity to present Global Textile's vertically integrated production chain, demonstrating how every stage, from cotton cultivation to finished garments, is connected within a single manufacturing system.

Particular attention was given to employee development, workforce management, working conditions, and the implementation of international standards. The delegation also learned about our cooperation with the Fergana Polytechnic Institute, our corporate training programmes, and the recently obtained Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) Chain of Custody certification. This achievement made Global Textile the first manufacturer in Uzbekistan to confirm product traceability throughout the entire production chain.
