Global Textile's “Kholis” Experts: Independent Expertise for Sustainable Agriculture

One of the approaches implemented by Global Textile in its agricultural cluster is the engagement of highly experienced specialists in cotton farming, seed production, mechanization, water management, and other agricultural fields.

Within the company, these specialists are known as "Kholis" experts—independent external advisors whose name comes from the word meaning "neutral." Their role is to provide an objective assessment of current operations, offer practical recommendations, and share their knowledge and field experience with agricultural teams.

One of these experts is Tillavoldi Rakhimov, who has dedicated more than 30 years to agriculture. Together with other experts, he regularly visits every district of the Global Textile agricultural cluster, meets with team leaders and specialists, evaluates field conditions, helps identify effective solutions, assesses ongoing work, and contributes to strategies aimed at improving crop yields.

Today, 35 Kholis experts work across Global Textile's agricultural operations. Their extensive experience has become an integral part of the daily work of field teams, helping preserve valuable knowledge, pass it on to the next generation of specialists, and apply best practices where they deliver the greatest results.
