Market at Risk

“If the conflict continues, the consequences could be significant. The textile industry is sensitive to seasonality: lost production opportunities are difficult to recover.”
From an ITMF article

Today, the global textile industry is going through a challenging period. The geopolitical situation and ongoing military conflicts are directly affecting international trade, logistics, and the stability of trade corridors.

For Global Textile, this is particularly significant: a substantial share of our exports is connected to markets in the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, and Turkey. Many trade routes leading to these regions are currently heavily restricted or temporarily blocked.

This creates additional challenges for maintaining stable supply chains and operating in international markets. In these conditions, our team is closely monitoring the situation and exploring alternative logistics solutions to preserve our export routes.

Today, the entire textile industry of Uzbekistan is facing similar challenges and is adapting to the changes in global trade.

However, periods like these often become a catalyst for finding new solutions and strengthening partnerships. For the textile industry — one of the key drivers of Uzbekistan’s economy — the ability to adapt quickly and grow stronger is especially important.
