Mass bee deaths reported…

A recent publication highlighted a growing concern: beekeepers are sounding the alarm as thousands of bee colonies are dying due to the aggressive use of chemicals during cotton spraying. This has left people without income and the ecosystem without pollinators. The news raised serious concerns.

At Global Textile, we decided to assess the situation in our own fields. We conducted an internal study and invited an independent expert to investigate.

The results were reassuring: bees around our plantations are thriving, and their population remains stable. This is largely due to the fact that we use an eco-friendly variety of cotton and avoid harmful chemicals.

Our fields support a healthy environment — another indication that our products are both environmentally friendly and ethically produced.
