Meeting in Surkhandarya

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, visited Surkhandarya Region.

During the working visit, a meeting was held with representatives of the regional business community. Among the participants was Muzaffar Razakov, Chief Executive Officer of Global Textile. The discussion covered the development of agricultural activities in the region, the outcomes achieved through the cluster-based model, and prospective areas for further growth.

Global Textile operates agricultural projects in Surkhandarya, and the meeting highlighted the effectiveness of the cluster approach in supporting the region’s agricultural development. Further expansion of processing was identified as a key priority for the next stage.
