On March 14, Fergana Global Textile hosted a training on growing organic cotton and the system of standards for organic cotton, organized by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Agronomists and specialists from cotton-textile clusters and farms from Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan regions took part in the seminar.
Organic cotton is highly valued in the international market, and its cultivation requires considerable effort and investment. It is gratifying that a number of domestic manufacturers are already working in this direction.
