Preparing for the Cotton Season: Quality, Accuracy and Transparency in Reception

Global Textile's cotton reception facility in Fergana hosted a practical seminar focused on preparations for the 2026 cotton harvesting season. The seminar was conducted by Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Together with representatives of the agricultural sector of the Fergana Valley, our team discussed the readiness of cotton reception facilities for the new season, the organization of crop reception, weighing accuracy, and objective assessment of cotton quality.

These issues are particularly important to us. Global Textile works with cotton from the field onward, which is why preserving the quality of the harvested crop at every subsequent stage and ensuring the accuracy of all reception data are essential.

Digitalization was also a key focus of the seminar. Participants were introduced to the capabilities of the AgroTarozi information system, which automates crop weighing, records data, and improves transparency throughout the reception process.

One of the most responsible periods of the agricultural year is ahead. Our goal is to receive the harvested cotton accurately and efficiently, preserve its quality, and ensure transparency at every stage of the process.
