Russian Delegation Visits Global Textile Garment Facility in Fergana

On October 5, events within the framework of the III Meeting of the Council of Regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation began in Fergana. The meeting brought together representatives of Russian regions, government institutions and business communities from both countries to discuss trade and economic cooperation, investment and joint projects.

As part of the programme, Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai, visited the Global Textile facility in the Fergana region.

The guests were introduced to the organization of production, the company’s production capacity and the technologies used at the facility. The delegation also learned about the production processes and viewed finished products.

The visits to industrial enterprises in the Fergana region formed part of the Council’s business programme, giving Russian representatives an opportunity to see the region’s industrial and production potential firsthand.
