Silk Road City, economic reforms and the best expectations – the first day of the economic forum.
Uzbekistan economic forum started in Samarkand today. "People at the heart of economic reforms", this is how the organizers announced the objectives of the year and the forum. The forum participants and guests will have an intense program, the main purpose of which is an open and in-depth discussion of the New Uzbekistan development strategy for the next five years.
The opening ceremony began with a welcoming speech by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, presented by his Press Secretary, Sherzod Asadov. Over the next two days panel discussions, round tables, networking and a press conference will be on the agenda.
