Uzbekistan in the global economy

During the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the United States, a decision was made to repeal the Jackson–Vanik amendment with respect to Uzbekistan. This step opened a new chapter in relations between the two countries and confirmed the growing trust in the country’s ongoing economic and social reforms.
For Uzbek businesses, this is an important signal that the country is now viewed as a reliable partner with predictable trade rules. The removal of restrictions strengthens the position of domestic companies in international markets and creates new opportunities for exports and investments.
For Global Textile, this decision carries particular significance. The company builds its operations on the principles of transparency, responsible production, and adherence to international standards. The opening of new channels for cooperation with American and other international partners will further reinforce Uzbekistan’s position as a modern hub of the textile industry.
The repeal of the amendment marks a new reality: Uzbekistan is becoming a full-fledged participant in the global economy with a reputation as a reliable and responsible manufacturer.
