The Women Behind Our Cotton Harvest

Working in agriculture takes patience, strength and a genuine commitment to the land. The women working in Global Textile's fields know this from experience.

They work alongside their male colleagues, starting early in the morning, spending long hours outdoors and handling the demanding tasks that come with growing cotton. Many have years of agricultural experience and a deep understanding of the land and the work involved in bringing a crop to harvest.

Their contribution is particularly visible during the cotton harvesting season. What we admire about our female colleagues is their remarkable energy, resilience and warmth. Even on the busiest days, they find time to encourage one another, share a smile and offer a helping hand.

On October 15, the International Day of Rural Women, we want to recognise the dedication of our colleagues and women working in agriculture across Uzbekistan.
