H&M Brand Quiz
06/10/2025

Continuing our “Learning from the Leaders” series, we’re circling back to the two-letter mystery. Yes—you were right: it was H&M. Here’s why their choices resonate with us and how they echo Global Textile’s course.
What impresses us is a working system rather than pretty words. Women get a real chance: 74% of managers are women, and women hold 50% of board seats. Their approach to resources is sensible: there are collection boxes by the tills for used clothing, which then goes to second-hand channels or recycling. Unsold items are also recycled or sent to charitable organizations. A small tip for new-in hunters: collections appear online first, and only a couple of weeks later reach the shop floors and mannequins. The website is updated every Thursday at 08:00—you’ll often find items there that have already sold out in stores.
Why share this from us? Because this approach aligns with Global Textile: respect for people, careful use of resources, transparent processes, and daily work on quality. We take inspiration from strong practices—to do our work even more precisely and usefully. If you’d like the series to continue, tell us in the comments which brand story to unpack next.
